Imaging Modalities Available
We offer a comprehensive range of diagnostic imaging services — from routine X-rays to advanced MRI and CT angiography.
MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging)
High-field MRI for brain, spine, joints, abdomen, and vascular studies. Contrast-enhanced MRI available with patient monitoring throughout.
CT Scan (Computed Tomography)
Multi-slice CT scanner for fast, detailed cross-sectional imaging of all body parts. CT angiography and virtual colonoscopy available.
Ultrasound & Doppler
Real-time B-mode ultrasound for abdomen, pelvis, thyroid, breast, and musculoskeletal. Colour Doppler for vascular and obstetric studies.
Digital X-Ray
High-resolution digital radiography for chest, skeletal, and dental imaging. Instant results with significantly lower radiation dose.
Fluoroscopy & Contrast Studies
Real-time X-ray imaging for contrast swallow, barium enema, IVU, and other dynamic studies under radiologist supervision.
DEXA Bone Density Scan
Dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry for measuring bone mineral density — essential for diagnosing and monitoring osteoporosis in adults.
Patient Preparation Guidelines
MRI Scan
- Remove all metal objects and jewellery before entering.
- Inform staff of any implants, pacemakers, or metal plates.
- Fasting 4 hours required for abdominal MRI with contrast.
- Claustrophobic patients may request an open MRI option.
CT Scan
- Fasting 4–6 hours if contrast dye will be used.
- Inform the team of any known contrast allergies.
- Bring kidney function test reports (serum creatinine) for contrast CT.
- Wear comfortable, loose clothing without zips or metal.
Ultrasound
- Full bladder required for pelvis, obstetric, and KUB ultrasound.
- Fasting 6–8 hours for abdominal ultrasound (gallbladder, liver).
- No special prep needed for thyroid, breast, or neck USG.
- Obstetric patients should bring previous scan reports.
X-Ray
- Remove jewellery, belts, and metal objects from the region to be imaged.
- Pregnant women must inform the technographer before the procedure.
- No special preparation needed for most routine X-rays.
